The company began in 1959 as manufacturers of nets for the grocery and agricultural markets. During the years Tenax as been able to spread the knowledge and use of plastic meshes into many different markets; gardening and DIY (fences, shade & shelter, fleece and geotechnical) agricultural (meshes for crop protection and harvest), construction (orange safety fence, drainage composites for roof gardens and anti-cracking mesh) civil engineering (geogrids and geo-composites for civil applications and ground stabilisation); packaging and industrial (tubular protection meshes, filtration and lamination). Tenax has developed innovative products through a constant investment in research & development patenting most new products / applications.
